Hops on the Hudson returns for 2025 with a series of art, craft beer, and maker markets in Cold Spring, New York (Putnam County), which the Hudson Valley has come to know and love.

Hops on the Hudson 2025 Season Schedule

What to Expect at Hops on the Hudson

Starting in mid-May, Hops on the Hudson’s season launches with the first of five Modern Makers Markets, where you can browse handcrafted goods from over 60 local artisans and makers. These markets return throughout the summer and fall, providing multiple opportunities to discover unique creations. All events feature live music and food options throughout the day, and every Hops on the Hudson market is dog-friendly and takes place rain or shine.

During each Craft Beer Tasting and Market, tastings take place under the big tent, which is a 21+ and pet-free zone. Your ticket ($65) gets you a souvenir sampling glass to keep, plus unlimited samplings during your selected 2-hour session.

Why We’re Excited

Hops on the Hudson connects local makers and producers with Hudson Valley residents and visitors. The events offer a mix of shopping, tasting, and community experiences in Cold Spring, a charming riverfront village known for its breathtaking views of the Hudson Highlands.

The village’s walkable Main Street is lined with historic 19th-century buildings, creating a unique atmosphere for the market events. Cold Spring’s picturesque setting, with Storm King Mountain and West Point visible across the water, creates a stunning backdrop.

ℹ️ For visitors from New York City, Cold Spring is easily accessible via Metro-North’s Hudson Line, with trains from Grand Central Terminal taking approximately 70-80 minutes along a scenic route with spectacular river views.

Hops on the Hudson 2025 Event Calendar

Summer brings two special events in June. First, craft beer fans can sample from 60+ taps at the NY Craft Beer Tasting & Market on June 21. Choose between two tasting sessions under the big tent, while enjoying the surrounding free market with food, music, and vendor booths. The following day, the Cold Spring Art, Wine and Spirits Show transforms the same riverside location into a gallery showcase with 40-50 artists, complemented by regional wine and spirits tastings.

After summer markets in August and September, the series concludes with a second beer festival in October and a final makers market in November, perfect for holiday shopping.
