The Shawangunk Wine Trail invites you to celebrate Earth Day 2025 with a weekend of exceptional local wines and spring-inspired food pairings across the Hudson Valley.
From April 26-27, 2025, discover the unique flavors of our region while supporting the local businesses that make the Hudson Valley such a special place to explore. This popular annual event, dubbed Earth Day at the Wineries, connects visitors with the natural beauty of our vineyards just as they awaken for the new growing season.
What to Expect at Earth Day at the Wineries

Your journey begins with a commemorative Shawangunk Wine Trail tasting glass and an herb seedling to take home (limited to the first 300 attendees). At each winery, you’ll enjoy specially selected wine flights paired with savory, spring-inspired bites that highlight seasonal flavors and local ingredients.
The self-guided tour format allows you to explore at your own pace, with three carefully designed itineraries grouping nearby wineries to minimize travel time. Whether you’re drawn to Robibero Winery’s panoramic views in New Paltz, Brotherhood’s historic cellars in Washingtonville, or the intimate atmosphere of Quartz Rock Vineyard in Marlboro, each location offers its own unique wine experience and connection to the land.
Why We’re Excited
The combination of wine tasting, culinary exploration, and vineyard visits creates an immersive experience that showcases what makes our region special. As wine lovers ourselves, we appreciate the diversity of offerings available along the Shawangunk Wine Trail—from crisp, aromatic whites ideal for spring sipping to complex reds that demonstrate the growing capabilities of the Hudson Valley. The Earth Day focus adds meaning to the experience, connecting visitors to the agricultural roots of our region while supporting the family-owned businesses that sustain our communities.
